NCAA Basketball

I know I'm hoping that it's just been stopped for the time being to work on it and improve it so that it's actually a decent game. I have the NCAA 2011 game and it's pretty poor. For one, it would be nice if there was a Coach Mode. If there were, it'd be nice to be able to have a Coach Mode that was able to be accessed quickly for "on the fly" changes and or substitutions.
Clearly, the worst thing with the last game was the Recruiting. Sorry, but it was absolutely horrible. I have tried Dynasties at Kansas and at Ohio State, both ranked highly and I'm given such a small amount of "Recruiting Points" that I can't fill all my needs. I basically have to concentrate on getting one top-ranked player, even though I have, say 5 scholarships available. It's just incredibly frustrating. There's no way someone could start at a smaller school and work their way up.
The Gameplay is weak also. There are hardly any rebounds in the game. No matter how I adjust the settings, the rebounds just don't come. Too many steals also, how about some mishandled balls that the defense gets? What about alternating possessions due to a tie-up? That never happens in this game, just watch some college basketball. Also, the tempo thing is a little too ridiculous. Okay, just because you want to slow the pace, doesn't mean you necessarily avoid Fast Break points. Speaking of Fast Breaks, let's talk about defending the Break.... it's a general rule when you're the one guy back against 2 or 3 guys you TAKE THE GUY WITH THE BALL AND MAKE HIM DISH IT!! Typically in this game the defender never even turns around. I could go on and on about the Gameplay, but you just need to watch some College Basketball.
Lastly, when it comes time for the NCAA Basketball Tournament you have to get the Seedings correct. It's obvious it's programmed to just do a Top 25 throughout the field of 65, so RPI, Strength of Schedule doesn't figure in, but here's the mistake. You put the #1 Overall Seed in Bracket A (for example), #2 in Bracket B, #3 in Bracket C & #4 in Bracket D, that's fine. However, you put the best #2 seed in the exact same Bracket as the Overall #1 Seed. NO!!!! You put the Best #2 Seed in the same Bracket as the 4th Best #1 Seed, and essentially the #1 Overall Seed will have the 4th Best #2 Seed in the same Bracket. How tough is that to figure out?
Also, it seems that you have one Region set up as being the home for the #1 Overall Seed, no matter what. So if that Region for the #1 Overall Seed is the East Region, and UCLA is the #1 Overall Seed, well then UCLA is getting shipped out to the East Coast. Clearly that makes NO SENSE.
All-in-All, I think if EA had put a little effort into this Series, you'd still be making it and very happy with the profits you'd be making off of it, but seriously, you half-assed it and now you rob the fans of what could and should be great series for EA.
