Please consider this for my Christmas present, or my b-day is in March. Right around the time for the release date!
I ABSOLUTELY Love everything you guys do. I know EA stands for quality. It doesn't matter what the game is, I know it's quality if it has the EA stamp on it. In my mind one of the greatest games ever created, was MVP 05 for PS2. This was by far the best baseball game, ever. I bought it shortly after it came out, and I played it until just over 4 months ago. The only reason I stopped playing it, was because I bought a PS3, and it wouldn't play it. It was the gold standard measure, with which I (and a few friends of mine) measure baseball game greatness. Even after more than 5 years of playing it, it would always find someway to do something new. Something new said, or some new angle, something, it always had some surprise for me. I loved the unlockables, I unlocked everything, and I maxed out all my MVP points, and I still kept playing it, just because it was THAT good. I didn't realize then, how much of a problem this would pose, because that was also the same year you gave up your MLB licensing. There is no other game that compares. The only problem I had with MVP is sometimes an error would erase a hit, or they didn't recognize inside-the-park-HR's. Other than that the whole, complete game was flawless. I'm currently playing MLB:The Show 10, and it's ok. It's way better than the 2K series (way more unlockables), but it's still very flawed. I'm noticing flaws in that game regularly, and well, that's just the way it is. It's inferior! It's the best inferior product out there right now, but it's still inferior. So, until you guys make another MLB game, that's all there is, INFERIORS! You guys set the bar, the gold standard, that even 5-6 years later, no one can touch, no one can even hold a candle to. A game you guys made 1/2 a decade ago! That should tell you something?! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER EA MLB BASEBALL GAME GUYS!!!! Please, nothing compares to you guys!!!!!
P.S. I know you make the MVP series still, but I'm only interested in MLB players, not fake 'college' players!
P.S.S. I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see what you guys could do with a PS3 engine running an MLB game!!!
