NCAA 2012 Ohio University Mascot

I know this is just me nitpicking at the game, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me why the Ohio University mascot isn't their actual mascot. I know they switched to Rufus in 2006 and EA still hasn't updated it. I'm not sure if it is a legal thing or they just legit don't care all that much. I just think it is weird because he was famous this past year for attacking Brutus.
