Dual e-mail notification problem!

Spent 2-3 hours on EA live chat getting my EA ID linked up with my PS3 ID. But now everytime I post a message on the forums, I get a double notification from people to the SAME e-mail address. And if I post my own message, I get one notification about that.
Can anybody figure out why I'm getting these dual notifications? #annoying :)|||Hi Mondo,
What I would like you to do is login to the forums and make sure you use the same persona each time. If you respond to a post that you are not on and you only get one email, then do the following:
To change personas, when you first login click the down arrow by the persona displayed near the top. Select My Account and this will bring you to the account page. Then you can select the first persona you would like to update. Once selected, please go back to the forums and find the threads you've been notified about via your email. Near the bottom please select "Stop Following Thread" and you will stop receiving emails for this persona regarding this thread.

thanks, I'll try that.|||So I switched to my EA ID persona (2nd account) deleted all my subscribed threads. Changed back to my PS3 persona (1st account), deleted all my subscribed threads. But still getting duplicate notifications for some reason and still getting notified of my OWN posts. I keep checking my EA ID account and I'm not even subscribed to anything, so I'm totally baffled.|||Maybe if I just stay on my primary persona it will eventually work itself out.|||Hi Mondo,
When you stopped watching the threads you are having issues with, where did you go to stop watching the thread. There are 2 methods that you can use. One if at the bottom of the page, the stop watching this thread button. The other is by clicking the second link that comes to you in each email. Make sure you have tried both of these.

Hmm, I didn't use either... I selected "my subscriptions" link up top... and to my surprise, there were none listed there.
Regardless, I went into my 2nd profile, unchecked all the notification options. Came back to my 1st persona, straightened everything out. And over the last couple days, I'm getting single notifications again. So I think it's sorted out.
